never can i ever
go home.
marc and amira left for THE WEEK to go to a wedding & a two new woofers, a couple, came. the man, peter, is in his sixties nd was a total head back in the 60's. he tells me amazing stories about how his town came upon an entire jug of acid and everyone was just high for like 2 weeks straight. and he's teaching me guitar - and we jam with piano and it's fantastic. his wife is cute and silent, but because she's from i think some african country and speaks a random dialect (peter speaks so many languages). he's intelligent, and explained to me the way every countries government works to the utmost detail and i loved it.
also this guy adam has been here for the past two days, and he's a beautiful soul. he's really relaxed, meditative, and funny - and has been great fun company and gave me great new music. i'm probably going to go adventure with his in jerusalem when i leave here.
woke up earlier today than normally, fridays are fucking crazy.
i'm positive now that this is my home - and i think i'm going to join the israeli army after i graduate college to be a real israeli citizen.

i know where i'm sleeping back upon the mountain, staff in hand - density & unidentified forecasts left in the midst
so this past weekend, staph and i decided to go spend it in tel aviv - partying it up with some people she knows. but the beginning was quite hilariously disastrous.
so where we are on top of the mountains in rosh pina, is like 3-4 hours from tel aviv. so we get there and are supposed to go to this guy seans apt to drop all of our stuff at and whatnot - except steph accidentally leaves her phone in a cab and we can't quite remember which apt it is and we just like guess for a while and end up falling asleep at what ended up being his apt, but unfortunately he had disappeared because even though he was given the weekend off from the army, they called him back last minute.
but no matter, we met up with some other people at a hostel and got wasted. at some point this french boy (who was wonderful and didn't understand how everyone knew he was french even though he had such a thick accent) invited us to the roof to get more wasted, and eventually a hookah bar on the beach. we ended up sleeping on the roof which was spectacular.
the next day we went to a friends apt like 30 min out of tel aviv, and literally smoked hash constantly the entire day and a half we were there. these kids REALLY like being high and it was great. they were great guys.
i also learned the best and most addicting card game that everyone needs to learn. and steph got a free guitar, and this professional world traveling player played for us today when we got back to the farm.
i have the word synergy stuck in my head. i'm also gonna have dreads ON my head by the time i make it back to the states. which btw is already freaking me out - i've only been here a week and i don't ever want to go back to the US. being here has definitely solidified the fact that i'm going to move here at some point.
also steph and i are going to start a butter business (organic peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, etc) and we're gonna call it Butter Face.
genius, i know. well - off to do some of this and that.

sun rises and sun sets
the sky here is an eternal palette of wonderful radiant colors.
marc and his wife, amira, and the most wonderful people i think i've ever come across. their energy can be felt just walking up their driveway (granted the drive way does stretch up a mountain, through gardens, animals, farm whatnot, etc).
today after goat milking, hardcore weeding, plant watering, chicken feeding - this awesome guy yehuda took us to the jordan river for a swimming adventure. the water was perfectly chilled, and in combination with the hot sun all was bliss. there were even rope swings tied to most of the trees all up and down the river, which stretches on for miles and miles. while there, these workers cutting down trees happened to be old students of his, and one was the most beautiful man i've ever seen in my entire life. oh lord. they got us free falafel, and apparently just called to take us to the discotheque - but REALLY unfortunately we're WAY too pooped and have to wake up at 430 am.
it's a shame, especially since he's moving to costa rica tomorrow.
the education in israel is insanity. the kids can literally do whatever they want - and there's no special help for disabled children. they get eternal recess, and then when they're old enough they're chugged up with adderoll. we helped out at a local elementary school, and the 3rd graders were practicing for their end of the year dance, and it was no a techno song and they were all doing the robot. one of their classes is playing the drums - which they're all amazing at.
we went there with marc, and he just took the kids out of the gate, and we walked a couple of blocks - collecting random twigs and branches, sat down on some grass and cooked some whole wheat grains and ate them. how wonderful is that!?
i now appreciate natural and organic things to a whole new level i never know. and how wasteful we all are. i feel uncomfortable just thinking about all of the unnatural things people eat, and all of the things they throw out.
anyway i should stop ranting, and start some yoga.
peace out girl scouts.

FRAM TIMES
so steph and i decided in our un-sober state last night that we just weren't going to go to sleep, get on a bus as early as we could, and begin our like 4 hour journey to farm times. all nighters are the best, all we needed to complete everything was redbull and flaming hot cheetos, but there's plenty of time for that when we get back to the MIA.
so basically the farm is the most amazing place i've ever been - and marc, the owner, is the most perfect human being ever who literally wastes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ex: when we wash dishes, we pour the water into buckets after and save it for tomorrow to water the plants. he has no garbage's, only composts to feed the chickens.
and did i mention that the farm is on top of a mountain!?!! so high up we can see syria from here. and the sunsets and sunrises, holy jesus - i've never before in my life seen anything like it.
there's this guy named bean that lives in the front of the farm in this little shack-like thing that he built, and he gets rocks and carves them and they're lovely and he's going to teach us how to carve ! !
well gotta wake up at 430 to milk 9 goats. not nearly as easy as it sounds.
peace, love, and gap.

pool partay day. wonderful as could be. we put an inflatable pool in the middle on the apt and made pool rules, like no diving, always have to be drinking while in pool, no running, etc. pictures will be available very soon. anyway, we had a bbq, and wore sunglasses and all was perfect. steph even dove for agurot (pennies), and there was breath holding contests. yeah. after our inflatable pool party we started the bar hopping, drinking bonanza which was wonderful because i got to end up on a date with stephanie. and now she's drawing my future tattoo that shall also be posted in picture form in the near future.
israel is perfect. there's a lot of flowers. everyone should come here and enjoy its beauty.
we begin our trek to the farm in the mountains tomorrow. i'm infinitely excited. i hear it's like complete hippie land, and the guy who owns the farm we're working on has a super awesome weed stash that we're allowed to use and he's the nicest guy ever and wonderful and everything and ah i'm so excited to wake up at 430 every morning for the most fulfilling days of life.
hearts, starts, and horseshoes.
